This blog started with a simple frustration. Every time I planned a trip, I found the same glossy, “perfect” photos and vague advice that didn’t match what I actually experienced once I got there. Somewhere between missed buses, underwhelming “must-see” spots, and unexpectedly wonderful ones nobody talked about, I realized the travel stories I wanted to read didn’t really exist yet.

So I started writing them myself. Not to impress anyone, but to document things honestly, the good, the awkward, and the ordinary parts of travel that never make it into brochures. I also wanted to push back on the idea that good travel requires a big budget or a flawless itinerary. Some of my favorite trips were the cheapest and least planned.
